Not in the slightest. Crawford has good core strength due to his wrestling background and that might make something of a difference regarding balance or trying to outwrestle Canelo in the clinch, but in terms of raw punching power? Not a chance even for someone as strong as him.

I mean, the one thing we can't take away from Canelo is his chin. That thing is made of the same type of iron as asteroids. He has eaten hits from monsters like Kovalev, survived a beatdown from Bivol & went 36 rounds with GGG. He was never hurt or even dropped once. No normal man can do all that. Crawford is strong for a 147 lber, but he has nothing to indicate he'd be hitting harder than the above listed guys even if he moved up to 168 and on the same note we have nothing to indicate he'd eat the bombs Canelo will certainly pepper him with, for all 12 rounds if needed.

No, if GGG & Kovalev couldn't seriously hurt him, no way a 147 guy can

    Canelo would maul him

No I'm not the biggest Canelo fan but he has a cast iron chin and has took flush punches from bigger men and bigger punchers.

No, but Canelo has abandoned his seek and destroy style years ago. Even if his opponent doesn’t have much power he’ll still take his time.

No, even if Buds power were to carry up to 160 or 168, Canelo’s chin is granite and battle tested against very good to great punchers ***** naturally bigger men.

No, I don't think he has. Pity, because if he did it would be a seriously great fight.

That 3 weight class would be hell for Bud. One clean hit from Canelo could hurt Bud bad. Bud is getting older too. He can't stay away from Canelo the whole fight. He's going to get hit and worn down.
