how so? Doesn't Wilder have a contract to fight Ortiz and then Fury. Doesn't Joshua have a rematch clause to Ruiz? In terms of popularity everyone feels great for Ruiz but I believe he has to win the rematch to be viewed as legit. Right now I feel he has a buster douglas quality to him. Also I still feel now that Joshua lost, it's Fury with the claim to be best in division since He beat WLad before Joshua and then faced the divison's hyped boogeyman in Wilder and in the vast eyes of the majority deserved the deciscion.

You feel he's like Buster cuz you've no clue who Ruiz is. Anyone who appreciates skill can see he has it in spades. That aside, Joshua doesn't want the fight. I dunno if you are blind, but he got exposed badly. For Joshua's sake he needs a new trainer and to go back to his roots and work his fundamentals out. Even if he went and copied a Klit formula, it's not gonna be magical or sudden change into a Klit. He's not gonna fix what ails him with tweaks. Also, Hearn wants instant rematch cuz he's a punter, he doesn't give a crap about Joshua's future.

Probs do ok cause now the Mexican casuals will be on board but Ruiz is a bit like Holly Holm, and she didn't become the next Rousey after a few weeks..

Profiles and fights are built up and Ruiz will need to keeping winning and maybe get Eddie to promote him!!!

If the fight happens next it would do worse than Fury Wilder cause Ruiz doesn't have any personality (not that this is bad) and doesn't have much of a name to keep his profile up after a period of time...

You're a total clown. You probably werent born yet when Douglas whipped Tyson. Ruiz has tons of talent, and an excellent amateur background doesn't change the fact that he won as a late sub replacement for the fat cheat Miller. Joshua may need a new trainer and all that but this isn't about him i'm talking about Ruiz and how he is viewed not Joshua. Let Ruiz has have his day in the sun. You're more obsessed about tearing down Joshua than finding out what works for Ruiz's career.

It would be huge! Ruiz is already hyped up by Univision, Telemundo, TV Azteca and many Mexican media as the great and only Mexican heavyweight. Many casuals all over media who didn't even know Ruiz existed, now do. They would flock to see the first Mexican heavyweight to defend his belt. He is really being hyped up a bunch and they should capitalize on this asap.

Yeah I believe Fury is the best Heavy in the world he defeated Wlad and Wilder. Joshua just lost so he's out as top dog. As for Ruiz i think it was a fantastic win, but when guys come out of nowhere like he did, on short notice with little exposure I think he will have to duplicate the perfomance to be not viewed as a 1 hit wonder.

He didn't come out of nowhere. You just didn't know wtf he is. That says more about you than it does him. :risas3:

I think it would do well. Underdog vs devastating power match-up for all the belts.

Ruiz was the punch that Joshua didn't see coming. He saw Wilder and Fury but Ruiz was that sneaky left hook.
