He will never fight Cotto Floyd or Canelo. they just won't happen. He should fight Lee and Quillen after Murray

No way Quillin ever signs to fight GGG. The only Haymon guy who might at least ask Haymon to let him fight is Jacobs, no idea if Haymon would actually let him though.

    As far as next fights...

    Obviously Murray is next.

For May, it depends on what Team Cotto is privately telling WBC and Oscar. If Cotto says he will fight his mandatory to keep belt, they will make the Lemeiux-GGG fight.

If Cotto says, or they think he will vacate before fighting GGG... they will wait and make the DL-GGG fight in the fall after Cotto vacates. DL is next in line after Murray in WBC ranking, so if Cotto vacates it becomes a fight for vacant title.

So without DL, filling the May date becomes tough. K2 probably makes offers to N'Dam, winner of Lee-Saunders, and I'm not sure who else. May going to be hard to fill unless someone wins a high profile fight between now and then if Oscar doesnt choose to make the DL fight.

    So Murray, DL, and ????

Nobody good, he's back in May or June, best option would be Lemieux or Chudinov (if he beats Eubank Jr).

I think once Golovkin beats Murray them maybe ndam or lemieux they will put their hands in their pockets and deliver canelo or Cotto. If not Hbo will push for a Golovkin V Ward fight.

Murray, Lee (would prefer cotto but doubt that happens), and then Canelo (can't make 154 much longer)

If Chudinov beats Eubank decisively as I expect him to he wouldnt be a bad defense for GGG.

Eubank still far too green. I dont even like him, but dont want to see him get wrecked so early in his career - he is just now taking step up fights to regional and lower-world level.

Geale wasnt stationary at all. Neither was Macklin.

Running from GGG just is not an effective strategy.

After Murray, Lemieux and then Lee makes sense.

With another strap and year of dominance Gennady will be in an irresistible position to secure a big fight, whether it's against Cotto, Canelo, Quillin, or he jumps up to super middleweight.

Quillin isnt really a big fight. He just acts like he is, because he is hard to make a fight with like a big name.

He is actually still an undercard fighter. Few people outside of forums like this one and Brooklynites have any clue who he is.

Macklin was stationary when he got knocked out. Geale was trying to exchange, which is almost as bad. running is the only strategy, but not by itself.

You may be right, though it's made sense for well over two years now, and you'd have to say it would be Gennady's best scalp.
