@danrafaelespn: Floyd doesn't have a mark on him. Says he'll be back in ring Sept. 14. #boxing #MayDay

@ChrisMannixSI: Mayweather: "We're going to be back in September."

It looks like he'll be fighting in September. I just don't know who. It can't be Marquez, Bradley or Pacquiao because they are w/ Top Rank. It can't be Khan because Ramadan ends mid-August. I'm thinking Garcia moves up or Alexander? What do you guys think?

EDIT: I totally forgot about Canelo but I don't see Mayweather fighting him due to the size advantage.

    It will be Garcia
Khan/Alexander is in December, Garcia fighting in September who else is there
I doubt he fights Alvarez yet

If Malignaggi pulls off the miracle, he's a shoe-in.

Winner of Bradley-Marquez might get a shot (depending on their contract situatoin because of the whole Top Rank thing)

Alexander & Khan also make sense.

Maybe Molina if he beats Ishe.

I doubt Paulie would be ready for a September fight after a late June fight? And Bradley-Marquez would take place in October if Floyd fights in September as per Arum.

Malignaggi is a very good chance against the unproven Broner. Look at PDL against Mares and think about how Broner looked against PDL not that long ago. It will be a disgrace if Malignaggi gets a shot for beating Broner, no better than this Guerrero fight.

I'm not sure, but I do expect him to face the winner of the Peterson-Lucas faces Danny Garcia, winner of tha gets Amir Khan elimination tournament sometime next year. From what I've read, Richard Schaefer is interested in making all those matches with the winner getting Mayweather.

As long as its Garcia or Khan, you can bet your bottom dollar that winner will get Floyd. Less likely if its Lucas, and even less likely if its Peterson who emerges the winner of those three fights

Superfight? How can it be if Khan is involved? FMJ would knock him out cold in a round or two.

isnt Garcia already set to fight the winner of Peterson/Matthyse around Sep?

the obvious front man is Canelo. Alexander would be a very distant second.

EDIT: i think Broner/Malignaggi winner would pull ahead of Alexander.

Khan is fighting Alexander in December, Floyd is fighting in September, Garcia/Matthysse would be in September, this is why I think Floyd just fights Danny now
