In my opinion, I believe it will help because he's actually a big 140lber and it would suit him more at 147. extra 7lbs could make a hell of a lot of difference. I mean his options are limited. If he wants to win a title, he needs to move up! What's the point of staying in a division where he's been beaten 2x (1 being a controversial loss) and has not much chance of a rematch with Garcia. People say he'll get K.Oed at 147, but no one knows this for sure. He's still young and can bounce back, but it'll be hard for him.
