I could see GGG ending up like Froch at SMW. Having some close fights, some wars and possibly some losses but overall being successful at the weight. I think GGG has a better chance of beating Ward than Froch ever did.

Based on what? Golovkin would have disadvantages in virtually everything but power (and his power is unproven at 168) whereas Froch was taller than Ward, had bigger reach and couldn't be physically overwhelmed. How exactly is Golovkin ever gonna beat Ward? Outbox him? Yeah, good luck with that.

Because he is technically superior to Froch. Imo skill and boxing brain > length.

Korobov is not yet skilled enough to be a credible challenge. Murray blew all his unearned goodwill after his decent showing against Maravilla, but a shot Martinez hurt Murray, GGG destroys him.

Gennady Golovkin is a monster at middleweight, but the middleweight division is relatively weak.

Super Middleweight is NOT
Geale, Adama, Macklin, Proksa, Stevens, are all good fighters that are on the same level with Periban, Sjekloca, Love, Stieglitz and Edwin Rodriguez, which are the weaker top contenders at SMW. The top of the MW division is on par with mid-level SMW's.

Everyone is really high on GGG with good reason, but they need to get a grip, Andre Ward and Carl Froch are top P4P for a reason they are very hard to beat, GGG will not steamroll them and anyone who thinks that he will are buying the hype a little too much and deluding themselves.

Chavez Jr, Bika, Groves, Kessler, both Dirrells, Degale, Abraham all pose a serious threat to GGG and stylistic challenges, as well as Chudinov, Callum Smith, and Gilberto Ramirez, are potential future threats.

The Geale win was real good but Geale is no Ward or Froch.

After the Murray fight I feel even more confident I have Golovkin evaluated properly.
