Reality check for the "It's so easy to beat Wlad" crowd

:nono -- he was not. If he was doing that, Manny wouldn't have been screaming at him to let his hands go and ripping him for throwing his right once every minute. If he was doing that, a majority of the neutrals wouldn't have been criticizing him for not pulling the trigger when he could have.

He went looking for the KO in the last 2-3 rounds. Before that, he was content to dominate strategically. Nothing more.

 

In all honesty it's fair to say that both K brothers could win prime2prime against any heavyweight from the past. Could means that they would've a chance. I don't say that they would be the favorites.

The guys from the present have almost no chance against both of them. Haye may have a very small puncher's chance against Wlad, but Wlad has such a brilliant jab (the best I've ever seen from any boxer) that Haye's chances to get KTFO are much higher. Against Vit, even if he's fading now, Haye has no chance at all. Same goes for Povetkin.
