Reality check.. Usyk is the same size as 'BIG' George Foreman.. is he really that small?

Usyk clearly hasn't had to eat himself up to 220. This is the weight he would be walking around at with his regular sort of training. He could easily eat and sauce his way up to 240 lbs like a Pulev, and still be lean. A minor change in his dosages over the course of 8 weeks is all it would take.

 

That's why I compared Mickey Garcia & Shawn Porter. Both fought at 147 and less than an inch of height between them, but Porter is a lot bigger naturally.

 

Because Porter actually weighs more than Garcia in the ring.

 

Lewis was only one inch shoter than Wlad and Joshua and weighed roughly the same.

The problem is today we have a lot of giant blobs getting more airtime than they should and people are convinced that they would be competitive against the front runners from previous decades....

 

Same thing goes for Foreman. You are comparing a bloated Cruiser at his highest weight to a toned Heightweight at his lowest and pretend they're the same size. That's not how it works.

 

Usyk is not bloated, you could see his abs and his overall body fat percentage looks very similar to his cruiserweight one.

That's peak. He doesn't look terrible...just not prime.

 

then he should weigh the same, shouldnt he? the extra weight aint coming from his personality. he is carrying weight he never needed to carry before out of a need for answers, otherwise the same usyk could just show up and do what he does. but this aint chisora or bellew.

 

You would have a point if CW existed in the 70s. Usyk trains down for 200.

I have no doubt Usyk could go 15 rounds at his current weight. So whats stopping people from saying Usyk was training down to 212-215 to make cruiser? Usyk hit 221 much faster than Holyfield was able to.

 

Anyone talking about endomorphs and ectomorphs clearly have no idea what they are talking about.

 

Hes as tall, but he doesnt have a big frame like big george. Joshua is alot bigger than usyk side by side.
