Witter needs to fight somebody, all he does is talk. The best name on his record is Harris... and from that he deserves a fight with Hatton?

Look at what Hatton has done, look at what Witter has done. F*ck off does Ricky need to fight him.

Anyone who can't see that Hatton is scared of Witter is a serious Hatton fan. Why else would he avoid him for years with a variety of different excuses?

We just need to accep the fact that Hatton doesn't fancy the fight.

I just find it funny this big monster that Witter has been built into without actually doing that much. OK he's the number two 140 lber in the world, but to say Hatton is scared....

Castillo had a close fight previously but the decision had to go to him so It didn't mess up the Hatton fight. Picked clearly when he was knackered making 10stone or below.

Zoo a once a year champion also picked at the right time struggled with Leija and reliant on timing and his right hand, take away the timing and right hand he's average.

You can get away with losing to Floyd without being considered exposed. Blames the weight yet he's naturally bigger than Floyd and was pressing forward, just shown that counter punchers and southpaws are his nightmare and he has no answer for.

I'd prefer something more cultured to Casino's, bars and hookers.:smoke

How was he shot at 29? Hatton should of fought him when he was WBA champ, plus Hatton fans thought Harris was going to win and Hatton's fighting a guy who lost to the so called shot Harris.:deal

You should of went to Vegas for Calzaghe, you would be guaranteed a ticket for your hotel packages.:yep

But are those the actions of a man 'scared' of Witter? He's taken on Zoo who was in most peoples P4P top 3 at the time and Mayweather who was the number 1.

Drawing a 'form line' for Witter beating Hatton because Maywether did is a massive stretch.

You are a idiot, Harris was not shot, Harris is 29, Witter is 34.

Hatton hardly entertained, Mayweather he did nothing but get bashed up, Castillo, he impressed, Urango was a boring fight and resembled a boxing match, Maussa was a sloppy match devoid of entertainment until Maussa was gasping.

Who really impresses with Corley? Hatton ****ing ducked him, plus Witter won a wide UD which not many people thought would happen.

Bradley wont beat Witter, its tits like you that hope that Witter would sometime lose while Hatton was ducking Witter (and everyone), but it just doesnt happen does it, Witter always does enough, which what matters, and lay off the smack about the Kotelnik fight, Witter won rounds 1-6 this was obvious.

at what point did i turn my argument into a childish name calling match?
i would love for you to express your side of the argument to my face and call me an idiot and a tit.
your argument is weak, when has age ever had anything to do with being shot? i know promising pros who were shot at 22. once your punch resistance goes and you become mentally gun shy, thats your lot. anyone who had seen anything of harris pre mausa could tell you he was a completely different fighter to the one that showed up with witter.
your welcome to your opinion, and i have mine, but think twice before becoming all internet warrior on me.

The good thing is a lot of people are catching on to the illusion that is Ricky Hatton. I'm sure more people do deep down know the truth but don't want to believe it. I fell in to that category for some time but when you break down his career it's difficult to refute.

I've noticed some Hatton fanboys defend his own record by attacking Witters. Hatton does edge Witter on opposition but so it should. He's the champion apparently. Anyone who can't see that Witter is the number one challenger must have an agenda.

Real great champions faced their number one challenger. Hopkins did it several times before finally being toppled by Taylor. Hell even Calzaghe cleared out eventually & didn't talk his condescending, man of the people stuff while he was doing it. Mosley when he beat DLH did he take a few "gimmes"? No he jumped in with Winky.

Hatton is a well marketed fighter but not a great champion. Anyone who places him in any of the above mentioned fighters category is dreaming. I would love to see him step up & face Mosley or DLH. Even at their advanced age they would give him a severe beatdown. Worse than the one Floyd gave him.

He needs to give up his dellusions of grandeur & clear up at 140.

can you not see that all the witter fans are doing the exact same thing?
your even suggesting that moseley and dlh are better than floyd:roll:

Typical fanboy picking out the one bit that suits your agenda. Firstly I'm not a Witter "fan". Thats not my reason for wanting to see him face Ricky.

Secondly, I'm not suggesting DLH & Mosley are better than Floyd at all. I meant with their styles Hatton would take more punishment than he did against Floyd. I happen to think Judah would dish out quite a good beating to Hatton as well.

If you want to discuss things Stuey do so in a more intelligent way otherwise I'll simply dismiss you as another fanboy & ignore you.

i am sorry, but i believe your arguments simply do not add up. i cannot see how witter is held in such high regard, if ricky had faced the level of oppo he had, he would get slaughtered, and again i reiterate, witter is boring and safety first.
you aint gonna change my mind on witter, but he could, if he were to just fight instead of twatting about in there.
if he fights well and goes for it a bit in his next one (which we all know aint going to happen) then i will call for a hatton match as much as anyone.
im off to the gym. not ducking your reply:good
