You don't appear to have read my posts properly. I've said myself Hatton edges Witter on record. It's not about him being "held in high regard" it's about him being the number one challenger in the division. Haye had a good excuse to duck Enzo but he didn't. As for changing your mind I don't really understand what you mean. I want number one & two to face off which is what should happen in boxing. You need to get out of this "us & them" mentality.
Hatton can disguise it any way he wants, but hes scared of Witter. When a man runs out of excuses to fight a man & then says, "my legacy is better than his legacy" its over. For reasons only known to Ricky Hatton himself, hes bottled a fight with Witter. Ricky would rather chase an american hypejob by the name of Malignaggi to add to his belt collection than face his main rival. Hatton the 'peoples champion'? Dont make me laugh. Never was & never will be. Its all about the money. That should be on his belt next time he fights.
How the Hatton apologists can defend so many years of Witter ducking I will never know. They continue to defend their man though. What are we all to do?
Nobody opon nobody can surely defend him IF he fights another nobody after his 'easy' tune up against Lazcono instead of Witter.... Urango, Collazo and Lazcona or whatever you call him got matches against Wicky so i dont know how people can say they deserve a match against him AHEAD of Witter no matter what they think of Witter I dont even like Witter that much but really want the fight to happen What i would really love is Irishman Paul McCloskey who put on a great display last night against Cesar Bazan in a total shutout to fight Ricky in the near future. McCloskey is a tricky soutpaw who can only improve, i believe in a year he can fight and beat Hatton. Honestly
