I won't be suprised if some are excited because the fight is called "lord of the ring"

the undercard is a lot better than hennessey's effort when Froch fought Dirrell - Its a decent undercard imo (2 commonwealth title fights, 1 ex european champion in comeback fight, samuels vs quigley wouldv'e been a good 8 rounder too but its been scrapped) especially when you consider Hayemakers postiion after Setanta collapsed

I'm really looking forward to this one. For me it's gonna be a good trip away with a good pal. Hopefully the fight and the undercard will be entertaining enough and the rest ofour day should be fun.
I think people get a bit too negative about boxing at times and I'm just not letting myself take that view about this.

Bit off topic but can someone explain why David Tua isn't a bigger name? I have to admit that I know very little about him, but his record looks very solid and his KO ratio is impressive.

Might have to do with where he comes from, not an established hotbed of boxing really

Its took me a while but ive only just put 2 and 2 together and realised that michael buffer will probly be at Jones v Hopkins, which has took a little of the shine away from this fight for me, but does anyone know who will be MC for this fight???

The very fact that SKY are pretending that Ruiz is in 'the shape of his life' & the fact that Haye is talking up his opponent tells us all that this is a mismatch, as if we didnt know already.

Still though, its always interesting just on the off chance that Ruiz lands a decent punch on Hayes chin, but again, its Ruiz we are talking about here. JOHN RUIZ. The very name sends shivers of boredom down my spine.

I'm looking forward to it, but not much more than a notch above the fight with Monte Barratt.

Haye has got to look good though winning it though.
