GGG would just walk Eubank down and knock him out. Eubank isn't that hard of a puncher. Eubank's come-forward style is tailor-made for GGG.
Before watching him fight Doran I thought it'd be a tough fight for Golovkin... now not so much. Golovkin is going to throw a mean left hook when Eubank fires one of his uppercuts. Game over.
I don't see a way Eubank could win. He can't outbox Golovkin, and it'd be suicide for him to try to fight fire with fire.
The thing is he also has quick hands much quicker than Monroe and is more heavy handed at that. When Monroe stopped running and took it to GGG he had more success tbh. CEJ has some of the best body punching in boxing, arguably beater than GGG who is also great to the body and much more relentless. CEJ is a much better inside fighter than GGG, whether he can get inside is a different and intriguing story.
I already said he wouldn't be able to get inside, because of Golovkin's jab. If Eubank takes it to GGG, he'd just get outgunned.
He is going to do what he does best and that's seek and destroy! Why would he not use his favoured and best tactic on GGG?
Because Golovkin hits harder than him. GGG has the power to hurt him, but Eubank doesn't have the power to hurt GGG.
Because this would happen. https://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-medi...l_progressive,q_80,w_636/187sazmavic1cgif.gif
It'll last longer than that... But only because GGG will break him down systematically and have some fun. Eubanks defense is horrid. While I don't think he's anywhere near being the worst challenger GGG has faced, his defense is definitely some of the worst.
