Really miss Mayweather fighting. He's the greatest of this era by a very good margin, sigh!

Best fighter of the era and I'm a huge fan

However, manny is the greatest of the era and should rank higher all time

He took more risks and is still going strong in his 40s

Both are awesome and I can't believe fans of the sport say one is great, while the other is rubbish

If you are a true boxing fan, you will rate both guys up there with the greats

Who gives a **** about losses? Losing is what happens when you don't duck people and fight the best. Something Floyd didn't do. He avenged the loss to Morales. Twice, by KO. Being KOed by a champion whilst as a starving teenager is now open to criticism? He was robbed vs Horn and Bradley and everyone knows it. Plus he was old as **** for the Horn fight.

The only bad losses he has are Marquez IV and Floyd himself. He was clearly past his prime for one, and also injured. And he already beat Marquez at least once.

Losses shouldn't detract from a legacy anyway. The guy is a former flyweight who's beating elite welterweights three decades later.
I would. Being 8 weight champ, beating Morales/Barrera/Bradley etc whilst being a former flyweight is more impressive than Floyd's irl achievements no matter who did it.
Being undefeated means very little. Sven ****in Ottke was undefeated ffs
Yeah, coz it is. Becoming the oldest welterweight champion in history, beating a guy 10 years younger who was much bigger is better than beating a young, drained Canelo. Morales, Marquez and Barrera are all better than Canelo.

    You've been schooled. Again.

Just look at the Boxing forums look at what the majority think? The vast majority rate both Mayweather & Canelo as CHEATS!!!!!!!!! those who use illegal means to gain success. Only a few worship them like you , MVC & the other few lemmings do. Put up a poll in here I dare you as to who is REALLY Fighter of the Era & I'll bet Pac wins in a breeze. Ive said many times before before fights
Floyd/Pac Canelo/GGG etc that if they can LEGITIMATELY beat their opponents I'd give both Floyd & Canelo full credit & regard them as MY champion! Sadly neither were able to "win" without illegalities so in my opinion & the majority of boxing fans neither are bona fide champions.

EXACTLY!!! Olu At last you admit it Without the corruption behind him he was no more than a very talented boxer/dancer who lacked the cojones of a real champion

But Olu you forget Senator Pacquaio has been campaigning LONGER & is STILL fighting the best out there & legitimately winning!!! now THAT is a real champion. When was the last time Floyd entered the ring where his opponent was top ranked & was given an even break to win???? I cannot remember it & my memory is great Just a cherry pickin' cheat

Great fighter, but could have done so much more.

If he beat Bradley in 2012, Canelo without a catchweight in 2013, Porter and Thurman in 2014, then Pacquiao in 2015, I guarantee most people on here would be calling him the GOAT.

Who cares about loses??? Why even fight? The whole purpose of a fight is to determine who the winner is and who the loser is and who's better. Loses must be counted they can't be simply neglected because a guy you like has more. Loses matter especially bad ones.

Pac beat a erik Morales who was just schooled by a average raheem, morales was past his best when he beat pac and was completely gone in the rematches who cares that he beat a shot morales thats not a good win. If that's the case you should really rate raheems win over erik Morales but no one does.

I don't want to hear it. He had no business even running close with a c level guy like horn he should have destroyed him like crawford did. It's another excuse a common theme for pac apologists.

He had alot of bad loses for a so called fighter of the era where the other guy had no loses. Horn is a bad loss torrecampo is a bad lose Bradley is a bad loss. He never beat jmm clearly the same guy who pbf shut out showing you once again Pac's level and PBF's.

Loses matter and are held against fighters rjj loses are held against him and he was beyond shot with his. If he had retired after he beat ruiz he would be a top 15 atg but he didnt he fought on and lost and they effect his legacy. You cant pick and chose who you give a pass to for loses and who you dont be consistent. It doesn't work that way. You're a duran fan and apologists so it figures you'd do the same with pac because you like both.

Morales mab or Bradley aren't better than canelo not only that pbf would school all 3 and wouldn't need trilogy of fights with these guys either like pac did.

Lastly like I said in my earlier post had there careers been flipped no way in hell would you be singing these same praises about pbf being a 8 division champ with bad loses and a h2h loss to pac as being greater than pac so stop! You haven't schooled anyone you've been schooled and have been outed as a hypocrite for your willingness to overlook loses and bad loses with fightees you're a fan of. I've always been consistent here that loses have to be held against fighters.

If Mayweather had the stones to fight Antonio Margarito in a FAIR FIGHT & legitimately beat him even I would have called him Champ. Sadly his little pair of acorns let him down & made him mess his pants. Story over Floyd:pipiPac
