charr was forcing him on the run using zero skills just bullcharging. vitali was ripe for taking after 40. in fact after 37.

Even that version of Vitali would spark Fury. Fury is a complete joke.

Even a 45 year old Vitali would destroy Fury. Fury has never fought a single good opponents and managed to struggle with mediocre opposition that he was supposed to destroy single-handedly.

Heck fat and drunk Chisora gave him hell. Cunningham gave him hell. Fury looked like **** against Pajkic.

I think 40something vitali would have early success against fury but the young prime man with the full tank would rally as vits tired.

I disagree, Vitali was ripe for the taking and Fury would have been the one.

For once, Vitali would be fighting someone of at least a similar size. Im not fully sure on the measurements i think Fury might be slightly bigger with more reach

So straight away, Vitali is in a position hes never been in before.

Fury has a suspect chin and is susceptible to being knocked out via one punch, but Vitali has never been a one punch KO artist and Fury always gets back up to fight. If Vitali was to knock Fury down, i dont think hed have enough in him to finish the job.

Vitali was more of a wear you down type puncher, i dont see him wearing Fury down

Thirdly, Fury is a hungry, young fighter with at least equal size, full of confidence, balls, heart and ambition. It would not be an easy fight for Vitali.

It took Vitali 8 rounds to stop Danny Williams when he was in his prime, he took 8 to do Adamek, i seriously dont see a 40+ Vitali stopping Fury.

Fury had the size and power to box and brawl with Vitali, who at 40+ would have his back against the wall.

Your talking about an old 40+ year old man with numerous injuries vs a young, hungry, ambitious, bigger and stronger fighter.

Fury is nothing special but hes better than the likes of Leapai and Charr.

Vitali didnt look too good against the limited Chisora either, and Fury brings a lot more to the table

Fury.. in his entire 'career' ... has never *TAKEN* anyone to the cleaners.

What Fury does is allow mediocre fighters to embarrass him. Cunningham, Pajkic, fat & alcoholic Chisora. All these guys Fury should have knocked the **** out in 2-3 rounds without taking a punch. Instead Fury struggles with them, gets knocked down, loses rounds he should never lose.

Vitali might have been ripe for the taking. But not by Fury. Fury is not smart enough to capitalize on opponents weaknesses. He lacks the grit and ring IQ.

I never said he had, but in Vitali hed be fighter a guy whose 40+ years old with injuries, weak knees and slightly smaller than him with lesser reach. The odds favour Fury.

He did fight a prime Chisora and went toe to toe with him. He was surprisingly out of shape against Cunningham, plus he didnt have his trainer with him.

I disagree, Fury has plenty of grit, he always gets up off the canvas and wins. Ring IQ is questionable, a lot of the time he relies on size and brute force to get the job done and he is willing to cheat/fight dirty to get results.

I think you miss the point, vits was running from a guy with absolutely no skills, a subdomestic at best. I am not denying he won it on cuts stoppage, and if you don't think he shouldn't be flooring such a weakling at least once, what exactly do you expect from a supposed world champ? certainly you don't expect them to run.

kind wrong to compare a subdomestic unskilled nobody with haye and valuev, who were titlists at the least.

bottom line is vits shouldda been out the ring approaching 40, instead he pissed on his fans, on HW history and your smilingly appreciative face by sticking around. Something Lennox and everyone else were not prepared to do for long.

You're either kidding or you haven't seen the fight. Chisora was an alcohol addict weighting at a flabby career high. That was nowhere close to prime Chisora and Fury *STRUGGLED* like crazy over 12 horrible rounds. Fat Chisora tagged Fury multiple times and stole a few rounds. It was embarrassing to watch.

Fury struggled against fat, out-of-shape, belongs-in-alcohol-rehab Chisora more than Vitali did against a version of Chisora that had a proper 8 weeks training camp and 25 lbs less fat on him.

Fury should have sparked Chisora in 3-4 rounds, that's what everyone expected after seeing the weight-in.
