It was only a draw because the judge who scored it 114-114 made an error when he gave Pac 10-7 in the first round instead of 10-6 for the 3 knockdowns. He acknowledged his mistake but the Nevada Athletic Commission would not overturn the outcome, making it a "gift" draw for JMM.
