Showtime has to pay Floyd 30 million, when the contract is over he can fight on PBC if he chooses to post retirement

His contract is with CBS/Showtime. It would have been absolutely within his contract with CBS to fight on CBS.

I'm not big on Berto as an opponent but if you don't like it don't watch simple, we don't need 1000 threads talking about how your not gonna watch.

Looking at some of the fights being talked about and announced, as bad a pick as Berto is Mayweather is still fighting a better opponent then a lot of high profile fighters in and around his division.

As I said, the best fighter in boxing showcasing his last fight on network tv would've meant so much more than just money in Floyd's wallet, as it would've helped pbc and boxing's mainstream media viability. It would also incidentally have been a big reward for you after putting in so much devoted slurping :blurp

    :yep :good

Floyd is a critter. He cares about nothing but himself. I feel sorry for Floyd fanatics. They have been taken by Floyd for many years. Now he has them paying $75 to watch him fight a shot C level fighter. :verysad

They need an attractive striking name for the fight which they don't have.

Nobody is going to watch Floyd Mayweather vs Andre Berto

If it was billed as,"Roid Armstrong vs Andre Bond...THE FINAL IV" it would be sold out.

$80 isn't a big deal for most Americans or Brits...
