    Hey Guys,

I'm new around here although being reading the site for a while now.

I love contact sport. Done Karate, Muay Thai, Judo all in the past and fought competitively in Karate and Muay Thai.

I'm in the uk and the boxing scene locally is a bit "crowded" with guys bragging world champ this European champ that yadayadayada.... Any way, finally found a guy who I'm training with.

But this is where I need advice.

    1. The guy I train with is now busy with his own training for an upcoming fight.
    2. The gym I train at has a mix of boxers/kick boxers

I want to fight amateur again, even if its only once and I get knocked out I want to say I worked dam hard, put in the effort and done my best.

The guy I train with has invited me to his main club where he trains to meet his boxing coach. I can't go as its to far.

The options I seem to have are shelf my dream until I learn to drive or similar or go find another ABC to talk to. I don't want to do anything that will **** of the guy I'm with as I like him but I really want to look at getting a fight. Is it possible to

    1. Keep training as I am
    2. Meet up with a boxing trainer once/twice a week extra
    3. Sign up with a promoter who will give me a novice fight.

I'm really sorry about such a log first ports but I really want some advice and I think this is the best place to do get it.

    Thanks,
