He does troll though....and he knows it.

But yes PP, if you want to discuss middleweights from '85 onwards he knows as much as anyone.

Frankenfrank is pretty much an odd ball. Probably doesn't speak English as his first language. In credit to him he tries to find his own truth instead of going along with forum consensus even if that truth is often pure madness

i just never got into that show frankly.. Maybe i was just too young when it aired, but even as i grew up, it never held my interest, wheras other shows of the past did. I realize it was popular and still is, but it wasn't for me.

Going to start a thread on the great Michael Watson soon, I've been rewatching his fights the last few days, brilliant technical boxer. Off the top of my head only him and Frankie Gavin have been the quality technical boxers Britain has produced in the last 30years, well Lennox to a degree, although he wasn't taught here

I thought it was funnier with McLean Stevenson and Wayne Rogers, then began turning into a social statement as Alda started taking over and the series began dragging on ten times as long as the war itself. (Also, stupid 1970s long hair has no place in a television series set in the 1950s, like M*A*S*H and Happy Days.)

    1. I often wonder if Pachilles isn't Burt, now that we're on that bit.

    2. I met Jamie Farr in person, and all I'll say is this: He told me Alan Alda has an enormous ****, even if he only found out because he was cross-dressed at the time. Now, make of that what you will, gents. But let's remember it was a classic, while we're in the classic forum, please.

I think it was on before the Dukes of Hazard. Ok Boxed Ears how about a picture of Daisy Duke.
