Can anyone confirm why Roach is not going to be in Pac's corner, let alone his trainer? I would hope that they are not in bad terms. They're legendary boxing duos, much like Dundee to Ali.
I can’t confirm anything, only speculate. With that being said, I’m sure more will come out in bits and pieces from Manny, Freddy and Bob as Manny’s next fight gets closer. As for my speculation, Manny is at a point where he probably wants to keep as much money for himself as he can. He probably only has a couple of fights left in him and there’s probably not much Freddy can show him or do for him. Manny has always been close with buboy and will most likely remain in the Philippines for the rest of his days. Also, hasn’t there been some rumors that he’s no longer obligated to Arum?
I think its been a long time coming.. I would assume its both their faults.. Manny and his political responsibilities took a toll on his dedication.. And Roach really should've came up with fresh ideas and never did anything but the same other than criticize him all over the media.. And then theres the Horn loss which they put a lot of the blame for that on Roach and the corner in general..

He Should never have trained him in the 1st place. I always thought he was wrong for MP. His in fight instructions are terrible. After the 11th rd in the FM all he said was ''throw some combinations''. A good trainer should stand behind his fighter and never admit to anything negative. Saying stuff like "I don't know what was in those shakes'' should never be heard from a trainer. MP is only fighting for money. I believe he still has tax problems which were supposed to be resolved after the FM payday but never eventuated. It is criminal that he is near broke even before his career is over after being the 2nd highest earner ever.

The thing is he is a filipino and when ever a filipno hits the the big time they share it around with the large extended family and hangers on. He used to have an entourage of up to 200 for those big fights in Vegas which would cost millions in air fares, food and accommodation. I heard he took them all for a holiday to Israel one time which cost him 3 mil. He used to gamble big time with $100,000 bets on basket ball and I actually know a filipino who $70,000 from him in a pool game. He loves playing pool and he is actually not a bad player.
Pacquiao isn't broke. There was an article one or two weeks ago where he was listed as the only other billionaire in office. His worth is equivalent to 65 million USD. He's gunning for presidency, so I'm assuming he wants to add to his war chest. That and he loves to fight, despite one foot being out the door. I remember an interview where Pac said that he missed boxing and that he felt lonely.
