Wasn't every detail agreed upon? And the only thing that changed after that was this Chisora tune-up, right?

So it's just your figuring and you're figuring it wrong.

Haye knew about April deadline for mandatory defense since last November. He had plenty of time to figure out his moves. He had plenty of time to get Chagaev out of the way. It is not like he needed too much rest after the Harrison fight.

Yes - everything was agreed when Haye was bringing a belt to the table abd making the fight a unification fight.

Why do you think that him ditching the belt will mean he's offered the exact same terms? The klits have explicitly stated that they want ALL the belts in their family - Haye loses the belt and he loses some appeal and a decent bargaining chip.

The deal was made according to the current situation, don't be such a smartarse

Definitely. He's shot himself in the foot hugely when he fought that disgrace against Harrison purely for cash. If he'd have taken care of his mandatory there and then he'd not be in this predicament now. I bet he fought he'd fight Harrison and the Wlad fight woukd happen. Now it's backfired and he's not getting his own way

"It should never have come to this," Haye said. "I was available to fight in May and June, and yet Klitschko only gave me dates of April 30 and July 2. The April date would be too close to Amir Khan's next fight, and would prove problematic with Sky Box Office, so we settled for July.

So Haye could have agreed to fight unification fight on July 2.
And everything else was also agreed.
And the only thing ( which wouldn't have a affected the belt situation or anything else concerning this unification fight) that changed afterwards was Wlad taking a tune-up with Chisora, right?

    :yep:yep

    Sure hayes, that sounds right.

That or you set up a july 2 date, an if wlad loses, you fight chageav or if wlad wins, chagauv is the mandatory after the wlad/hayes fight, an he can fight on the undercard.

No that is not true, he could not fight in April as Sky have refused to give a PPV date with Haye until July, due to Khan PPV & ROYAL WEDDING. Hayes problem is that is that if he did fight Vlad in July he would have to take a mandatory before the, he would very little money as it cannot be PPV. I live in London and saw Chisora beat Danny Williams at Upton Park soccer sstadium, there is NO WAY Chisora will beat Vlad...guys forget it!

The trut, h is Haye should have agreed the fight on July 2nd, let Vlad take his fight and Haye take his mandatory, it does not matter how many ways you look at it, Haye should have agreed to fight.

Unification doesnt always trump mandatory fights where is this bs coming from ?

Countless guys have been stripped for unifying instead of facing a mand

This is new BS from the corrupt ABCS cause they see money in this fight , but is not never never always the case !!

People asll talking like this has always been a rule is just plain funny to me

Why do you think Haye is avoiding chagaev CHEF?
IS it because that will be his hardest fight in HW to date?

trust me... WBA was on board... no problem

check the rules. A unification fight trumps a mand..... now if an ABC decides not to sanction it and therefore can stop unification is another issue
