Reason I Think Ward Wants Golovkin So Bad!

Ward would want the fight in his home town, with his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, Golovkin's people are not stupid enough to fall for that trap...................Ward is a light heavyweight and should take Stevenson up on his offer to fight him at 175 or even come down to 168 and fight him, but Ward will not even answer...................when asked about fight Kovalev, Ward said that Kovalev is too big for him. Ward refuses to go up 2 or 3 lbs. to fight Kovalev, yet he expects Golovkin to go up 8 lbs., when he is a 160 lb. fighter and has much bigger money fights, SOB Ward is nothing.................let him fight Beterbiev, since Beterbiev has only had 9 pro fights.............................What Ward did to Goosen makes me want to puke! Ward was spoiled, had his very own tournament, never had to travel like the others, always had the advantage, Ward thinks he deserves to be treated better than anyone.....................he is a "Legend in his own mind."

 

Stevenson called Ward out live on HBO while he was still fighting for HBO. Stevenson had agreed to fight Kovalev, but ran to Showtime to keep from fighting him..................Ward was there and said nothing, thought Ward was going to faint.........................Duva has been working on a Kovalev/Ward fight for 2016, but don't hold your breath...........................

 

Ward needs to fight men his own size like kovalev.

 

One thing is clear is both Ward and Stevenson are avoiding Kovalev for whatever reasons. Watched a clip on youtube with Ward on some boxing show and he was being asked about GGG and he was all animated and stuff. On the question of fighting other top fighters, he was silent, especially on Kov. It makes more sense to fight Kov than GGG, being an ex LHW olympic champion FFS.

But he will have the advantages, except power, over GGG. He will beat GGG by a clear UD but Kov will be a different beast and he knows it. We should see them fight in the future, but only if Ward gets a huge amount of money.

I can see how that fight will pan out, Ward will start off better and lead until he tastes a first of Kov's power, then things will change...

 

Reason? Golovkin is a fraud who didn't fight anybody.

Ward is desperate for a Golovkin fight because they are both getting really big. Golovkin in terms of s****om, popularity and ppv potential. Ward in terms of size.

Ward is a lot bigger than GGG. He needs to fight Golovkin NOW, while he can still somewhat make 168. In a year, he won't be able to, and the money is GONE. Golovkin's team knows this, and they are unwilling to risk their fighter fighting a much bigger man for relatively small money. They want to milk 160 lb division for all it has and meet at 168 when GGG can't make 160 anymore. Only by that time, Ward will be a long time LHW.
