At the Spike Tv video game awards, they introduce the new UFC game with LL Cool J first doing a performance, then Dana White and 6 top UFC fighters coming out to present awards.

What did boxing do to introduce Fight Night Round 4? A fatass Mike Tyson and a 10 second clip of the new game. Way to go boxing.

I'm sure the UFC game is under liscensed compared to the boxing game. Hence the full support by Dana White and other UFC personalities. Nonetheless, if you really are to entice the youth to the sport of boxing or any other sport for that matter, I do believe it's better to hold clinics instead of coming up with video games.

you'd think if you were an MMA fighter that you would switch to boxing after seeing how much money ODLH and Pacquiao pulled in for their fight.

Part of the problem, unfortunately, is it's never on TV. Not in the US.

Spike TV carries MMA which appeals to the same people boxing would if it were free.
Kids see boxers as one dimensional and don't realize how much skill and toughness boxing requires. All they know is boxers would get beat in MMA cause that is all they know.

I've done a little of everything...enough to know boxing was the hardest thing I ever tried.

The scumbags have taken the pure sweet science (unfortunately) away from the masses to view.

They must bring it back to the little people.....I think in five years revenues would skyrocket if they did.

I wish HBO can own the rights to one of the belts like WBC or IBF. And all campionship fights will be aired on HBO. Lets say WBC was it, that belt would be worth more in the long run then the other belts cause the people see them more. More boxer would want to fight for that belt, which would give us better fights. Boxing needs consistancy. Im a boxing fan and still dont know all the campions yet. Unless people read it off fightnews nowbody knows whats going on. Younger people have the shortest attention span. Which is why there are none.
