I'm not a huge fan of Froch and think that he's not world class --

He holds both hands down -

    He has no defense -

    He gets hit alot -

    He's stiff -

He's never fougt a world class opponent -

    He's not schooled -

    He's not skilled -

    He's wild -

He keeps his chin higher than his hands -

What do you guys think, compare and contrast -

To be honest if he couldn't stop the current version of Lacy (who Mendoza nearly had out of there until Lacy tackled him to save himself) i doubt he will stop Froch. This is not to say he won't win a points decision.

You're describing a shot journeyman fighter.

If he's that bad, how did he manage to get passed Pascal?

And here's why Froch won't get knocked out against Taylor:

    Froch has a granite chin.
Taylor has a 54% ko ratio.

    Case closed, next!!

Taylor has never KO'd anyone worth a damn and is downright scared of mixing it up.

Jermain will knockout Froch ... he almost stopped lacy ... he's not a big power puncher but he still managed to put Lacy on ***** street ... and just like he did against Mendoza on ESPN ... he held on a survived.

He was beat to the punch on a regular basis, just like Froch is --

Lacy has never been knocked out and has only been down once in his career.

So to make that comparison is ridiculous...

Can't see it happening. I really dislike the ****er but Frock has a good chin and can dig. I can see JT winning by a big margin tho'.

How so? Lacy has been hurt by a journeyman, and is clearly shot to **** (and wasn't great to begin with), Carl Froch has shown that he can take a good shot. Hardly ridiculous. As you said he was beat to the punch regularly, and Taylor couldn't stop him.

You don't have to be a knockout artist to knock someone out ... these guys are professionals and its safe to admit that one fighter is a level or two above the other.

Taylor hit that right spot on Froch's chin and he's out of there --

Froch fights with both hands down and has zero head and shoulder movement !

Who has Froch fought to confirm him having a "granite chin" ...

He has yet to fight a world class fighter or a fighter who's won a legitament championship.

I just noted this to bump it when most likely you will be wrong.Taylor's power is subaverage at SMW,it wasn't anything at MW either.
Froch is world class and has fought world class. With the rest I agree but it's all the same thing.Reason you say this is probably cuz you don't follow boxing outside your trailer park in Mississippi.

No doubt in my mind that Froch gets outclassed.... not so sure he gets KO'd tho.

Power isn't the key word in this discussion ... its about precision punching ... and Taylor's level of accuracy. He doesn't have to throw bombs to get a knockout ... all it takes is a short punch on the right spot.

The fact his chin is his only defense.
