So, he takes a SMALL step up in class and comes unglued? Taylor is a HUGE step up. He may come unconscious.

then dont get all nasty and offensive people will appreciate your opinion more if you dont launch tirades at boxers you clearly dont like

exactly defensively he is very poor but his chin seems alright
    which helps lol

the only reason he has gotten to where he is today is become of his great offesive skills
he has puncher power, decent combinations (throws a lethal uppercut), great stamina and good speed

but against someone like taylor that just is not enough because he has been in the ring with one of the main offensive fighter around the weight class kelly pav
and in the second pavlik fight taylor showed how good he is
froch has got the pucnhers chance
but that just is not enough

also taylor can easily outbox froch, he is too well refined

His hands are the lowest i`ve seen from any boxer but he`s rangy with good reach and power with good punch resistance.Froch does tend to tuck his chin into his shoulder though, all this has got him this far atm but Taylor could beat him, faster hands good right hand. But Froch is more "own style" than unskilled.

I disagree. Anyone can get knocked down when hit flush often enough without any defence, watch the marg-mosley fight to see how this fight will go.

fitzgerald i suggest you watch a few more froch fight. he beat a guy that bute went 12 round with inside 2 rounds, robin ried said hes the biggest puncher he has faced (he fought lacy when lacy was the ****). he does have head movment, pascal hit him flush only a few times. froch was a world class amateur mate.

Anyone thinking they've got the measure of Froch from his Pascal fight shouldn't run their mouth about how limited he is just yet. Remember he had a shitter for the first half of that fight - nerves made him sluggish with the jab and swing too wildly. The second half was a complete shut out when Froch started working behind his jab far better. Taylor has speed and skill no doubt, but Froch has the range, chin and power to make this very interesting. Those saying Froch hasn't got a chance are talking out their arse.

Exactly... Plus Froch has faster hands and more power than Pavlik and i would argue better boxing ability too and Pavlik stopped Taylor. Taylors heart is not in boxing and after a few right uppercuts he will think twice about coming forward and Froch loves it when his man backs up. I think Taylor has the skills to win this one but i don't see a knockout and i wouldn't be surprised to see Froch knock him out in the later rounds. Hope he doesn't though cos Froch is an annoying arrogant little turd but he has much more skill than a lot of you Americans are giving him credit for

I think Taylor would be more likely to stop Froch than the other way around.

For me, if this fight happened,

Taylor by (very) wide decision: 9 rounds to 3, or wider: 60% chance
Taylor by TKO: most likely on cuts late or very late referee stoppage: 20%
Froch by KO/TKO: late-ish to late rounds: 15%
Froch by (very) close decision, after knocking Taylor down once or twice: 5%
