the reason is if you go back to his fights he has been walking down bigger guys for at least 10 years where as floyd avoids getting hit and he is right you will last longer if you dont get hit as much but pacquiaos style means that it will end quicker

Well, swarmers have always aged quickly and poorly.

Pac is still pretty great, but if you fight a guy like Marquez 4 times, he'll catch you eventually.

That's why these guys should put that pride aside and realize it's called prize fighting for a reason. Make the most money and get out.

A guy like Mayweather is exceptional but marked only on his zero. He wouldn't be nearly as big or marketable without it.

    He hasn't declined

He just got a bit lazy...

In his last Marquez fight he was fcking **** up intill he got KTFO.

Beat young fit high workrate Timmeh' with ease

Will innilhiate pretty much everyone at 147 and 140 excluding Marquez and Mayweather

So how has he declined? Still Elite, Still one of the best.

Nobody jumps into one the greatest counterpunchers of this era especially if he has their number and gets away lightly...

i dont think he is on the decline, just more of a lost of passion for the sport.

He's great but dont over exaggerate man.

    Since 2003 he's fought

    Barrera
    Morales x2
Marquez x4 (the last 2 fights have been at 147, Pacquiao's weight class)
De La Hoya 147 (in which Pacquiao came in on fight night 148, a pound more than De La Hoya)
    Hatton (2nd round KO)
Margarito ( very good win, even though he was off a loss to Mosley )
Diaz ( who stood no chance)
    Mosley ( lol, seriously )
Cotto ( who did very well against him early on)
Bradley ( who barely hurt Pacquiao )

He's been at a weight disadvantage about 3 times in the last 10 years.

Floyd is ALWAYS at a weight disadvantage, and has been in just about every fight he's fought outside of Marquez. He doesn't rehydrate because he's in shape all year round

Pacquiao's decline has nothing to do with fighting bigger guys. It's his shaky defense and knack for taking unnecessary punches.

The day money brought up 'the test' was the day his decline began, that's easy to see unless you are a Pac nuthugger. Now that chin has been well and truly cracked, Pac will never be on top ever again even if he starts juicing again.

Pacquiao has not declined...he is stilled the great fighter that he was... He just got beat by a better boxer. Anybody who doesnt come "straight ahead" at pacquiao will make him look bad

Exactly. The losses have skewd peoples perceptions. In both his last fights he was showing signs of the old prime and fit manny who was just as quick, powerful and effective.

He was too gung ho against marquez, and got complecent after hurting him, which is when the roids starting kicking in and gave juan the power to deliver a one punch ko out of nowhere.

Seems like he's been gradually reducing his ped dosage to clean out his system for the Floyd fight
