Agree with this, Algieri also got up just on 9 seconds in the 10th round where he was still in his cage.

Everyone had defensive mindset except for Margarito and Marquez , who were brave to trade punches with Pacquiao.

Marg fight should've been stopped during the 10th round. We know what happened with Marquez fight.

No he wasn't, he simply couldn't stop either. He dominated both. There is no shame in him not being able to stop them.

I think it's just down to the styles.

Clottey covered up the entire fight and barely threw a punch, so Pacman looked pretty unimpressive just hitting the arms.

Margarito seemed huge in the fight but Pacquiao absolutely wrecked him. No more he could have done imo.

Mosley ran away the whole time, which Pacquiao has struggled to deal with.

Marquez 3 had a combination of moving back (like Mosley) but also added counters to his work, which is why most thought he won.

Bradley was very defensive and ran away and covered up a lot of the fight, which is why Pacquiao didn't dominate.

Marquez 4 had Pacquiao making some major adjustments to his foot placement, which is why the fight was an absolute war. Pac could finally find JMM and showed huge improvements.

Rios walked forward and took some big shots, but Pac was slightly tentative. He defo should have finished Rios imo.

Bradley 2 has Bradley really swinging for the fences with some huge shots which is why Pac had much more success. Pac should have maybe dropped him.

Algieri tried to run away but like the 4th JMM fight, Pacquaio showed improvements with his opponent moving backwards and was able to time things a lot better (plus Chris was really amateur anyways). Could have been stopped but I didn't really expect Pacquiao to catch him that much since he was running away.

The only black marks are JMM 4 for obvious reasons, Bradley 2 and Rios for me.

i'm not sure Algieri has an iron chin or does Bradley or Clottey. These guys are defensive so that's why it's difficult to KO them. Clottey is a defensive master who is just difficult to KO. Bradley has been down but again, defensive and difficult to hit. Algieri has also been down but when he fought Pacquiao he basically ran away from him all night, still tasted the canvas. Rios definitely has an iron chin though, Margareito was just too big for Pac but still got destroyed.

Pacquiao's best run was the Diaz, ODLH, Hatton, Cotto run where he basically annihilated these 4. He destroyed Diaz and KO'd him; beat De La Hoya so bad by making him quit; killed Hatton and annihilated Cotto. The thing is, all 4 of these fighters were not defensive and good match-ups for Pacquiao. Diaz just kept coming and taking beatings; ODLH couldn't see the punches and just stood in front of Pac; Hatton went at Pacquiao with reckless abandon and Cotto kept coming at Pacquiao without speed to counter. These were all good match ups.

Mayweather will be difficult but Pacquiao can win that fight by out working him. I think currently, good match-ups for Pacquiao are Canelo, Maidana and Khan. Canelo will come forward and will be dangerous but Pacquiao can destroy him with speed, ala Cotto demolition. Maidana will attack but Pacquiao is good fast and i see him destroying Maidana. Khan is quick but is Mr. Glass and as soon as Pacquiao lands a punch, the sound of glass breaking will be heard
