1) Abraham really lost vs Miranda in fight 1 2) Abraham has no stamina 3) Abraham doesn't have the punch output 4) Abraham doesn't have the reach 5) Lajul Simon embarassed Abraham and was only not given the 'win' because it was in Germany 6) Dirrell shamed him 7) Froch has never cleanly been beaten while the Dirrell and Kessler fights are a 50/50 split with fans Come saturday night Someguy101 is gonna bump this 'er thread so don't forget I told you so! (And no Abraham was overated anyway, Ward would school Froch remarks post saturadys' fight)
Froch won't be 'schooling' anybody. It's not his style. If he uses his smarts, he could have success by taking a step back and looping hooks around that crab like defence of Abrahams. He's never really been one to utilise his reach though
Lajul Simon? They must be really corrupt in Germany, until now nobody even knew that fight happened. In fact they seem to have wiped Lajul off the map. Although Abraham did win deservedly but unconvicingly against Lajul's brother(?) Lajuan.
Reasons why it will be lights out for Froch: 1. Froch has no defense, he is wide open to get hit just like Paul Williams 2. Froch chin isn't great he has been stunned by much lesser punchers 3. Froch is slow 4. Froch boxing skill is not very good 5. Froch does not have great athleticism 6. Froch does not move laterally. He moves forward and backwards. 7. Froch is a brawler, fighting a better brawler.
Agreed, wrong word to use, i think Froch can win a close points decision but if he mixes it up too much he will get KOed
It will not go to the judges... AA by KO! another for the highlight reel... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCmTWid-ob4[/ame]
Froch lost to Kessler - No if ands or buts about it. Froch got a gift decision against Dirrel (who only had 18 pro fights) Froch was down after 11 rounds to spent fighter Jermaine Taylor. All these fights above are with guys who use their atheticism. None are power fighters. The style to beat apower fighter is with a Slick style and a fighter who can move in and out and side to side. Enough said. Goodbye Carl. Let us know how the canvas tastes in Finland.
So if you had a gun to your head who would you pick? I see this fight as a damn coin toss. here is some pros and cons for both fighters. Abraham Great defense Great chin Great power So so Stamina small stature and reach Froch Good chin Great stamina long reach Good power Bad defense However i see Froch as someone who will hustle to get the win. He will risk getting KOd to get teh KO. I dont know about Abraham. Hmmm im leaning toward Froch just because of the odds. And i have a feeling Froch will stay away from Abraham and box to a UD. However if Froch gets proud which he is he is tasting the canvas.
I see Abraham winning a UD. Abraham can be outboxed, but as far as we know, it takes; Good handspeed, good footspeed, good lateral movement, hard, piercing straight shots. Unfortunately, Froch possesses few of those qualities. He doesn't have the speed or movement to get out of the way of Abrahams short, powerful hooks. He doesn't have the handspeed to overwhelm Abraham with shots from the outside, and he throws long, looping hooks. These hooks will not pierce Abrahams guard, as is needed to land frequently against him. Froch doesn't have the accuracy to land frequently from the outside, so he will be connecting with Abrahams guard for much of the fight. Froch keeps his hands low, and his head movement is poor. Abraham will block Froch's looping hooks, and score on the inside with powerful shots of his own. I suspect Froch may win several of the early rounds on activity alone, but once Abraham comes alive, he will land frequently. If a fast, relatively good boxer like Jermain Taylor cannot outbox Abraham, I cannot see Carl Froch doing it. Abraham by UD.
Most importanlty Abraham is a freaking Smurf, and Froch has a face of a real Gargamel! This content is protected This content is protected
