Why some of these boneheads call you ******ed, I'll never know Primenal. It was very strange and fights have been fixed before. You make a legitimate thread and and legitimate point.

I'm on the fence about it being fixed or not, but I'll say I don't really think it was fixed. Ortiz looked to Cortez after the cheap left as if to say that Mayweather cheap shotted him. I think Ortiz was looking for Cortez to step in and say something to Floyd for that shot while Mayweather was loading up that right and kaboom.

Well I put the reasons "I" think it was fixed... Not saying it was fixed for sure. Either it was fixed, or this was just a crazy fight with people having strange emotions. Kind of like looking at somebody who is happy and smiling, and yet...judging by what there saying they sound angry. Just don't make sense.
Besides I'm not the only one. A lot of Floyd fans say Pac vs Cotto, margarito, Clottey were fixed, but yet Pac layed some serious leather on them, and there was nothing that out of the ordinary about those fights. Clottey covered up...Like Clottey usually does. Margarito tryed to get to Pac, but ate 5 punch combos, and Pac moved to get away. Cotto got a savage beating, definitely never got to save face against Pac, and I don't think you could pay Cotto enough to get beat that badly.
At least in this fight this crazy drama happens, and Ortiz gets to save face by the cheap shots. I think I have more legitimate reasons than anybody accusing Pac of fake fights.

If you're going to insult someone, at least do it with proper grammar.

Ortiz was grinning and happy because he just became a millionaire.

IMO here's how it went down:

Ortiz was guaranteed a 2.5 million payday win, lose or draw. He has shown before that boxing doesn't mean that much to him (Maidana quit-age, letting the sure thing Peterson win turn to a draw) and was happy just to make a **** load of cash.

Obviously he was happy yo give it a blast and hope for the best but looked levels below Mayweather and in either over-eagerness or frustration or both tried to headbutt him.

Cortez is a clown and had been a poor ref for years. he gets himself in a muddle and losses control of the fight (not for the first time)

Mayweather lacks class and in a rage about the headbutt suckerpunches Ortiz knocking him out.

Ortiz doesn't care cause he was losing anyway, made a series of massive errors during the fight and his bank balance is fine.

Merchant sees the chance to rile Mayweather and get some headlines.

Mayweather again loses the plot and looks a bit of a dick.

The end result sees everyone make a load of dosh. Ortiz can shrug off the defeat as he was fighting one of the best. Mayweather keeps his 0 and makes loads of money and headlines. Merchant gets the spotlight enabling him to make more money. Cortez's poor officiating gets brushed under the carpet, he ref's more big fights and makes loads of money. The controversy gets more people buying so the broadcaster makes more money.

Everybody is happy with all their money.

Ortiz was looking for a way out but I doubt the fight was completely fixed.

Not this **** again..... There are some who thought Pac vs Josh was fixed too so I'm not all that surprised to be reading another conspiracy theorists who defies logic here on ESB.

that ending was some wwe type of stuff...floyd giving cheap shots behind the refs back and ref missing it and continue counting out the other guy.

was anticipating ellerbe would throw in a steel chair to floyd while the ref was not lookin lol.

floyd at it again with his in house fixed fights

Why the **** would this fight be fixed? Some of you guys have issues that aren't serious, but you can tell how this type of thinking affects your life in subtle ways. Seriously!

haha what are you talking about? I think everybody can admit fixed, or not fixed this fight was utter chaos, and was something you'd see in WWE. I don't think I gotta reach to hard to find a possible conspiracy here.... and I wouldn't classify myself as finding a conspiracy in much, or really caring much.
I dislike Floyd, but not even mad at the guy for the cheap shots... Because I don't seriously beleive it was a cheap shot cuz I beleive this was already worked out to begin with. I don't think he needed the help, but if he looked a little old, and Ortiz looks better than he did against Berto, and caught Mayweather like Mosley did..Anything can happen. He'll probably get a 50 mil $ payday against Pac if it ever takes place, and he can't afford to have Ortiz possibly upseting him so this is what people get.
I didn't pay for the fight so I'm not mad, but it was just a joke no doubt. Wether it were fake, or real...STILL a big joke of a fight.
