I'm not starting this thread to definitively say one fighter will win but all I've heard about are reasons why Pac will lose to Hatton. Does anyone have any good arguments as to why Pac will win? I'm undecided myself and always interested as to read what other people think, (always giving reasons to bakc up their arguments).

    No.

He will lose because he's never fought a bigger fighter, Hatton will come into the ring at 154 on fight night, is physically stronger than Pacquiao, better on the inside, and will wear down Pacquiao with a body attack before stopping him in the 10th.

So, there's pretty much no hope for Pac, other than perhaps a puncher's chance?

    - he's faster
    - got 25" arm length (to Hatton's 20" only)
    - southpaw stance

It would seem so, judging by the theads previosuly posted. I was just intrigued to see if anyone could come up with a plausible argument as to whether Pac could win.

Pac's strengths fit perfectly with Hatton's weaknesses

Pac will be faster to the punch and circle away from hatton for the first few rounds picking Hatton off with fast, accurate and powerful punches.

Although I actually think Hatton will win by 9th round KO, but I honestly think this is a 50/50 fight and no1 will really know how hatton will handle Pac's speed or how Pac will handle Hattons strength and relentess pressure until it unfolds on the night.

So basically reasons Pac can win; Speed, accuracy, footwork, being able to stay on the outside and power

Reasons Hatton can win; Strength, power, pressure, inside fighting and footwork.

People seem to forget that Hatton is easy to rock. Look at Collazo and Lazcano fights. He was ****ed by light punchers. Against someone with decent power, great speed and good accuracy hes gonna get KO'd. IMO

Mayweather showed the blue-print to beating Hatton. It takes a supreme boxer to beat him, which Pacquiao isn't.

It takes a great defence, and an amazing ability to counter punch with that level of accuracy and timing, non of which Pacquiao has.
