Agreed, he doesn't recover to well but when they actually catch his chin he takes it quite well, he was all over the place against Brewster and took two brutal left hooks with his hands down and never went down. A lot of the knockdowns were balance issues, Sanders just caught him cold and instead of holding he tried to fight his way out of it, that would never happen now.

Tyson beat Holmes (who was in the same kind of condition Lewis was) ... Holmes beat Ali ... Ali beat Liston, Patterson ... Marciano beat Louis etc.

I have wlad as an ATG, Larry Holmes never really beat anyone either, just longevity. Tim Witherspoon arguably beat him and tim is prolly the best fighter he has a win over along with norton.

Actually holmes was very underrated during his days, its now that people appreciate him. Ken Norton isnt an all time great, if he fought today he would lose to the punchers too. Tua would slaughter him.
