Only thing left for Broner to do is wear that KFC outfit for Floyds ring entry in September.

I really hope he doesn't jump straight into a Porter rematch...bad decision, AB!

I'd say he also has faster hands and has a dad who brushes his hair. That has to count for something.

He needs a new trainer that will be the boss of training camp. As much BS as Floyd Sr. talks a few years ago he made a good point. He said Broner is the man in that corner and ignores everything his trainer says/lack respect. He needs someone that will be hard on him and who he respects. He has the talent but lacks the focus.

That's what it may ultimately come down to.

Broner has some talent and tools but not nearly as much as people often say he does. Nothing that stands out that makes you think "damn, he could be a really special fighter". He's moderately talented among world class fighters, he's not exactly some Michael Nunn/Hector Camacho-esque guy oozing out ATG gifts and squandering them.

He was fortunate to have the right connections that got him title shots, and his personality helps as he's a villain/heel that people root against.

He may win another alphabet title or 2, but I don't see that much else in the future. Not only is he very flawed with his generic shoulder-roll style, but he fought like he barely had a pulse. He just held onto Porter non-stop, and didn't seem to care. Maybe he's already happy with what he's achieved and the money he's made and doesn't care to put in the work to much adjustments to improve as a fighter. Against Porter, he certainly didn't fight like someone who cared an awful lot.
