    Crawford went to the UK and beat Burns, the titleholder. I thought Burns was the favorite.

    He did, but going by Burns' recent performances most expected him to be so dominant that home advantage couldn't save Ricky in that one. Just take a peek at the threads leasing up to the fight.

    Nah, everyone had seen Beltran robbed to a draw against Ricky and Gonzalez outbox him ('til he hurt his hand) - I think the informed opinion was that Crawford would box hell outta him, though I can't remember how the bookies had it.

    Burns deserves props for finishing the Beltran fight on a broken jaw, but a world class boxer he ain't.

    Boxrec says Provodnikov was a slight underdog in his fight with Alvarado, so there's that.

    Not by much, though, I thought the bookies were wildly underestimating Sergei... I almost never bet, but to this day I regret not putting a few quid down on Kovalev.
