Because he throws a **** ton of arm punches. He is basically focusing on speed and mobility above else. If you look at this amateur run and compare it to his early pro years, it´s insane how badly he regressed. But somewhere along the line he readjusted and started to evolve. Quite rapidly so, if I am being honest. Something clicked. But he can sit down and throw a good punch with proper technique.
Not different from A.J or Wilder's fans. Fury is large size dude and 260-273 lbs for such large frame is pretty normal weight. A.J should had took at least Wilder or better Usyk instead of Pulev. And Usyk he might had took instead of Pulev for WBO tittle defense fight. It had been sold better than fight vs Pulev because Usyk had more achievments in both: ammy and pro ranks than Pulev and is younger than Pulev. With this not so deep underdog like Pulev.
The thread is about his body. Fury does have a horrible physique. He’s got a huge waist and hips. He’s built like a rhomboid. His frame is like that so there’s not much to do. On top of that, he’s flabby. He’s kind of hunched too. Just overall looks like a troll.
Eh, by conventional standards of attractiveness you are right. But that is subjective, a matter of personal preference-large waist & hips are not correlated with his functional ability, he is actually very fast for someone of his size. Flabby? Sure, get to 400 lbs. & lose weight you are likely to be that way. Hunched, another aesthetic preference. But the thread is about his condition. The looks are relevant only as it effects or denotes condition. It just took a brief segway into judgments of what looks good. But this is not a beauty contest.
And Wilder literally has chicken legs. Among the three you can say AJ has the best body. Oh AJ is 1-1 vs Andy "the beautiful body" Ruiz I don't think this is a male model competition.
All but literally...Wilder's upper legs have always been listed at 18". That is getting down into Supermodel territory. I actually have never seens a HW whose thighs were listed as that small! Even taking guys from early in the 20th century, whose in-ring weight was around a modern day middleweight.
He uses his weight in punches more than anything else, his punching technique for power is horrible, watch him on the heavy bag, he's just pushes it about really.. Lol he literally pushes himself in to 'power' punches and imposes his full weight on an opponent. But if he was to change how he fights and tried to set him self for more power it just wouldn't work for him having to set himself differently would mess him right up as the fighter we know.
