Its called Ring generalship! Its called having an opinion, Pac could have taking the test and KOed the MOFO U my friend are the one bordering on EVIL with your hate and malice and wishing a man with children suffers brain damage. U are in need of counselling my friend
I don't think Mayweather has ever attempted to make the case for another guy not getting hurt or "respecting a guy too much to hurt him". He is making the case for his "low risk" style. I also don't think he ever said it is an unforseen tragedy. How can you not see it and grow up seeing Muhammed Ali? He is again saying to get in there getting busted up for the hell of it and too long is foolish. You disagree with what he is saying? I think you are projecting a bit here.
I think you, like others, are completely missing the boat on this? Roach more than had symptoms and signs of concussion before retirement. It didn't progress into full blown Parkinson's, but he knew he was screwed. The role PEDs play in it is unleveling the playing field. If you train hard and make your game plan then a guy "enhances" you have no defense. Granted you may have no defense otherwise, but the enhancement make the other guy "super" human. How do you defend against that? FMJ is telling the truth and has always made the case for his "saftey first" style. And the "safety" is only for him. He is more than happy to blast other guys out and GIVE them brain damage if their boxing style dictates it. I agree about when to say when... No boxing fan can really disagree. I wish our sport provided some retirement cash.
He gives good interviews when the reporter is respectful and treats him as who he is, the best fighter in the world- or at least one of them. Every other reporter is on the attack floyd tip- where they immediately go at him and say- why dont you fight margarito, why dont you fight cotto, are you really the welter champ, etc... could you imagine a reporter going at kobe bryant and sayin- you re afraid to play lebron, you havent won a ring on your own, why dont you guard wade one on one, are and so on... its disprespectful. i sometimes find floyd a ****- but this personality he s developed is a recent one- prior to this he was humble and personable guy- but the hate and resentment he receives is the reason. i mean seriously- the resentment he receives and the criticism is unprecedented. the guy gets so much ****- and the bar is always a bit higher and higher- and out of his reach- always. i dont know why that is. is it because we dont want our black athetes to shove it in our faces? and we want them to be humble? i dont know- i ll leave that for someone else. but imagine if floyd was white or asian- and he has accomplished what he had done. he d be worshipped. we may not see another pac - but we certainly wont see another floyd in a long long time. ive been watching boxing for a lot of years- and i know- that a talent like this comes every 25 years or so.
those guys are lightweights. they take severe punches a lot worse than heavyweight punchers. First off, I believe that maybe 99 percent of all boxers are clean. The drugs are too expensive to get fore the average boxer to even buy and obtain. The only ones that are cheating and its documented really well, are blacks and mexicans. Stats don't lie. Floyd- "Let's clean up the sports with more tests" How the **** are you gonna enforce that all over the world? You tell me ***legge.
Muhammad Ali has caused me to cry as a grown man, of course that **** upsets me. I just don't think you can separate the obvious guarantee of brain damage from the sport. Trying to minimize it is fine, but you also accept you're going to bore the fans with a lack of action. It's like going to the races and the cars don't want to drive as fast as possible because of car wrecks. People are ruthless and brutal, and they want that reflected in competition. The only person I ever saw walk away from boxing with a sharp head on his shoulders is George Chuvalo.
