Damn, if Hamed is really around 200lbs, its amazing to think he used to make 126lbs. That's over 70lbs difference, like five stone or more. **** man, that's alot. I know fighters, when they retire, generally put on weight, but I think in Hamed's case its very extreme. I mean, surely he must be physically uncomfortable at such a weight? Ten years from now you will not see Bernard Hopkins in such condition. In fact, I don't think you would ever see B-Hop in such condition!
People have been using that picture since 2007 or maybe earlier. I wanna see an updated pic but then agian it could have been that he didnt change his shirt in the last couple years.
Its weird how many boxers gain loads of weight after they retire. I guess after years and years of living a very strict lifestyle they let themselves go.
I agree with this. Obesity has huge risks. I mean why not work out at least once or twice a week and eat somewhat normal.
it's amazing to me that so many fighters in the lower-mid weight classes (i.e. LWW, WW, LMW) are actually naturally fat, short guys who just train their asses off and cut a shitload of weight. they all get huge after they retire.
Racist piece of **** As for Naz, so ****ing what if he's overweight. Or Hatton for that matter. Most boxers after they've hung up their gloves, like to enjoy their retirement. After putting their body through relentless training for the best part of 30 years, it's not a crime to begin enjoying food once again.
