Because here in the UK, Paki is a derogatory word, used to insult someone who appears to be of Pakistani/Indian/Bangladeshi descent.
I wonder how many people see the irony in cheering a guy on for 40+ professional boxing fights and THEN getting concerned for his well being when he puts on weight afterward. Like getting fat is somehow more dangerous than prize fighting?? :rofl
I think most people put the entertainment aspect above the general well being of the fighter. We all care about the health of a fighter but obviously we're too busy enjoying their fights to ***** about it. Then when they stop entertaining us, we care a lot more
Hahaha, he is enjoying his life after having a spectacular career! Um... I love how people who have never done anything rip guys who were once elite competitors. Dudes who probably couldn't even withstand the challenges of the effort it takes to be a tomato can! Let alone a world champion. If the guy is so "funny"? Sign a release form and say it to his face! I hear Tyson has picked up a few pounds too...
We're well aware a pro boxer would beat up an average joe. This is kind of standard fact. Even though I get what you're saying, it's kind of not worth stating. As for ripping on people, welcome to being a human being. Part of life is being made fun of, it comes with the territory of breathing. I always find it funny when people freak out when celebs/athletes are made fun of in any shape or form, particularly when the main response is "If yer so tough why don't you say it to their face!" Who cares? Chances are they don't so why should you. I don't have to be a fighter to tell Malignaggi he looks like a rejected Jersey Shore member. Same way he doesn't have to do what I do for a living to tell me that I have a goofy haircut or bug eyes.
