I chose Castillio, Corrales and Casamayor . . . Sven Ottke? I see he has no votes as of yet and it should stay that way . . .

Casamayor for sure. Corrales and Castillo could crack it based on their fights (HOF voters are definitely subjective and like historical stuff like superb wars), but we'll see. Castillo will always have that disputed loss to Mayweather, so that should count as well. Call me an idiot, but Ottke had a very decent run, so don't count him out. I only had Reid winning clearly, and he had a lots of close ones, but ultimately he and Calzaghe dominated the division. Very very underrated skills, but perhaps his resume is too weak.

Alvarez is an interesting suggestion. I'm not too familiar with his career. How good he was in his prime days?

That's also what he's known for.

Alvarez was solid, but no0t HOF material.

To be fair Barry McGuigan is in based on the Pedroza win only.....(okay he did a lot for Ireland in general but in terms of his career it's just that) which was at Loftus RD (not Ireland but still pro-Barry)

Based on that any of these guys could get in. Seeing how Naz has been treated (declined due to his affair post-career) I doubt Chico would get in, being a wife beater and a drunk driver.

As much as I think Chico SHOULD be in there, he was an exciting figther, huge puncher, fought through a couple of weights with varying success but always at the top level, I don't think he'll make it.

Castillo too. The weight thing has put a lot of people off of him.

I think Casamayor deserves to be in there too.

    Ottke???

Gatti will get in, he was too popular not to. He also gained a few World titles in a few divisions in his time and had the famous Ward trilogy. The HOF voters will remember that.

Personally I think Gatti is totally overrated, but in terms of excitement he was brilliant.

What does everyone think of Naz getting in? Big KO % won every belt in the FW division at some point, one loss to ATG Barrera, post-career his life has been....shall we say less than desirable, but I think it should be judged on what you do in the ring, and before he lost interest he was sensational.
