If you want to take what I said and label it 'career beatings' I'm fine with that, though those are your words not mine.. And the way it's comparable MAB/Chicanito is simply based off of age.. both were the same age at the times they took those fights.. it's Floyd haters that like to say well Genero was done, while being in another argument saying MAB was prime, because Pacquaio beat him. How does that even make any sense? Not saying that's what you say, just pointing that out that it's said almost everytime Floyd and Pacquaio are discussed.
It's funny to see how Hamed continues to be overrated all these years on. Had he continued would anyone have picked him to beat MAB in a rematch? Would anyone pick him to beat Morales, JMM or Pacquiao? Or Corrales? He would of lost to each and everyone one of the above IMHO and there's no shame in that.
I LOVE Naz. But if you look at the level of opposition he faced, it was not always top tier, and he didn't always dominate. In fact at times he struggled and faced a few off balance knockdowns along the way. His power was what got him of sticky situations. I honestly cant see how he could beat Floyd. Wide UD to Floyd. Too technically sound
thats "career ENDING beatings" like you suggested floyd did to chicanito. you have been into boxing long enough to know that age is only one of many factors that determine when a fighter becomes shot. it could happen at anytime between early 20's to early 4o's, it all depends on the individual and the career hes had.
Just cause you correct it, doesn't mean I said it.. those are your words, not mine. Chicanito even said it in his post fight " He was too fast", had that been Manfredy in there Chicanito would have fought on. That's how talented a 130 pound Floyd was. And I agree with the last part of your post. All fighters are different, Vargas was shot at 29, but it's irritating when you hear Chicanito was shot, but Barrera was prime.
If you actually look at the interview Naz was saying it tongue in cheek kind of way. Think it would have been a great fight. Naz in his prime was something else, when he left his trainer and promoter he was awful and hardly trained. Saw a interview few weeks ago that for the Barrera fight he was in a hot bath needing to lose a lot of weight a hour before the weigh in. There's no blueprint to beat mayweather so would have to favour him.
Always the same *****s defending Floyd lol, always the same outlandish claims and sugar coating of how a B level slugger that Khan beat rather easily didn't actually smash him from pillar to post, and that's before we bring up how a shot old ODLH and Pac beat him, let alone the JUdah DQ and Castillo beat down. The media have done their job, they manufactured Floyd, a black American boxer, they pushed him on the masses and sold him very well, the masses subservient to their handlers lapped it up and verbatim all they are fed. Classic social conditioning amongst the more malleable minded of society which explains why when researched Floyd fans have the lowest IQ and wealth of all boxing fans.
naz got so overrated that people now underrate him. What he did to kevin kelly shows what he would do to mayweather but worse.
I should really, I mean when you look at Floyd the man, not Floyd the boxer, he was perfect for the media to promote. The target audience was the lowest common denominator which he represents well, he is unable to read like most of his fans, he can't think for himself, you set him on a task and he mindlessly carries it out thinking he is in control. It's great thinking really and even giving him the go ahead to promote himself while talking him into paying discreet hand offs to various sources to keep his 0 intact and his doping scandals out of watchful eyes. Obviously they can't control his heathen family and his upbringing to hit women and be racist, but hey they have most of it down pack.
This here. Floyd would have humiliated Hamed especially at the lighter weights. Naz was just lonely and wanted some attention.
