I’m sorry if you’ve seen it but Lionel Rose vs Fighting Harada is a must IMO but I haven’t seen every fight ever.
I find it hard to mention something that I believe you never saw since you are a 'OG' of classic boxing. So I am going for a obscure one... that I believe a classic OG should know.... José Durán (Spain) vs Miguel de Oliveira (Brazil) - WBC SUPER WELTER BELT (vacant) This content is protected
Not saying these fights were legendary fights or anything, just posting because I believe you never seen... and all is "boxing culture" gained. Adilson Rodrigues "Maguila" vs James Bonecrusher Smith. This content is protected
Tony Green vs Jose Vida Ramos - Tuesday Night Fights on USA in 1993 from The Blue Horizon in Philly. *Video used to be on Youtube a while back. Nice little scrap for 8 rounds with momentum swings galore!!
One of my favorites from back in the 80's . And a very good fight is Davis Jr. vs Baltazar. A match up of a light punching , but highly skilled stylist, vs a limited, but aggressive hard punching slugger . A fun fight to study.
One great fight I never hear mentioned is Victor Davis-Vincent Pettway. I haven't seen it since the night it happened back in 1990. Hoping someone here has it and could post it. Wouldn't mind taking another look. Here's the write-up on boxrec... https://boxrec.com/wiki/index.php/Victor_Davis_vs._Vincent_Pettway
Hey Sal one not many fans mention is Gilberto Roman vs Jiro Watanabe it’s the two best fighters of the weight having a nice showdown still prime. Jiro Watanabe was disinterested but not in “end of the line” shape. Not a fight you should skip at the least.
I appreciate that! I did see that maybe a couple years back when I was on a bit of a Gilberto Roman kick for a bit. Even considered changing my name to "gilbertoromanfan" but regained my senses.
