I've started using Sherdog mainly to help with picks on the smaller MMA cards, but its a fairly big forum no idea what its like compared to anything else tho as these are the only 2 forums I've ever used.
Terrible community. Only sub forums worth browsing are the worldwide MMA and kickboxing. The mods there sucked too from what I remember. Although I've heard they've gotten a bit less 1984ish.
Yeah Sherdog might not be the best community it seems to be pretty big,I dont really post on there much but I dont know what other forums there are depends what you are looking for I guess .
I haven't posted on sherdog in a long time so I don't know the state of that forum. SBnation is ok but there is one douche mod who posts nothing but clickbait threads and permbans anyone who criticizes him. Most of the mma forums that I really liked are ones that unfortunately don't exist anymore like Ironlife.
Sherdog is terrible. The mods ban you for disagreeing with them! Also the place is so partisan its ridiculous, if you arent a Liberal you are getting banned!
The mods are a bit less PC than they used to be. But it's cucks galore. Lots of losers fawning over WMMA fighters who don't even look that good and lot's of casuals who always follow whatever the UFC is pushing at the moment and fall for literally EVERY single hypejob.
With the amount of people there your always going to get a large portion of parasites,cucks or what ever people want to call them. I get your not a fan WMMA or of the so called hype jobs but I never really noticed anything more unusual than would be expected on there. Maybe we see things different due to our opinions on these matters but as I said I rarely use the forum
Fair enough not doubting your experiences,I've only been a member a couple of years and read stuff on there couple years before that and had plenty of run ins but it seems to be the biggest mma forum so not ideal if looking for community experience I guess. I have many sources for my fight info including a few people I follow on twitter to get breaking news etc. and more use sherdog along with tapology to mainly help with picks for the the smaller cards but might check out that sbnation forum that foremanjab mentioned.
