What a load of nonsense! Just contacted Primetime to check the order I placed for the Mayweather vs Ortiz fight a couple of weeks ago is fine and to discuss possible ways of recording the fight using my Sky+ box, only to be told that due to ordering the fight over the phone I won't be able to record the fight. I was told for future reference I should order the fight using my sky remote rather than by phone and then I will have no problems recording fights. I honestly cannot believe the facility I was requesting is that friggin difficult. It's the first time I have ordered on Primetime. I am already disappointed the fight is not free nor is it being showed in hd and now I can't even record the fight having paid £14.95. :-(

This is all confusing mate. I mentioned the link above to the consultant and they said it's not possible for me to record the fight as I ordered it over the phone. What am I supposed to do? It's frustrating, man.

Relax....Soon after the fight you will be able to download a HD version with better (and more drunken) commentary...

That's corect, if you order over the phone we send a direct signal to unblock your viewing, this prevents any delay to the signal and guarantees your viewing, it does however block recording.

On your first night of registration to Primetime we have to activate your viewing card with our service, if we only send the registration signal it takes 24 hours to hit your box and you may miss the fight so we send the direct signal to ensure you can watch. Once you are registered you can then order all future events with the box office menu and record like any other box office channel

Also if you order over the phone with sky it is exactly the same they use the same signal as us which blocks recording

Ok thanks for clarifying. So the next time a pay per view event is on all I need to do is order it using my sky remote and then I should have no problems recording?

Is there any other way of purchasing the fight without using a credit card ? because I don't use them.
