Why did you only acknowledge the New York State Athletic Commission and the National Boxing Association (a U.S. org.) ratings for 43 years when boxing was a world sport?

Why did this change in 1963?

Were there no ratings bodies around the world before 1963? (I think there were.)

Why did you recognize the WBC when it was founded but not the IBF and WBO when they were founded?

Because the WBO wasn't a major sactioning body until the mid 2000s

Why do you include Tommy Burns in your stats? He wasn't the champion in 1920? You don't say why you recognize him?

Why do you include Jack Johnson in your stats? He wasn't the champion in 1920? You don't say why you recognize him?

Your rules say Jack Dempsey was the first champion, don't they?

So why in the hell are John L. Sullivan and Jim Corbett listed? Sullivan was dead by 1920.

That's patently false. Naseem Hamed was the WBO champ and in title defenses beat the IBF, WBC and WBA featherweight champions in the 1990s.

Undisputed is actually arbitrary, there's always some sanctioning body or something causing problems.

Like the BBBC recognised Lee Savold, then Joe Louis as champion, not Charles and Walcott. So were they really undisputed?

Please explain why you recognize Jack Dempsey as the FIRST heavyweight champion?

What did he do to get the ball rolling?

I think the big problem is there's no clear point where the WBO belt went from minor to major. I don't think Hamed beating champions with better recognised belts makes it an important one.

What made it important beginning in 2007?

Was it Sultan Ibragimov outpointing Shannon Briggs over 12 rounds? Because that was the big heavyweight title win for the WBO in 2007

That's why we don't recognize certain organizations

Also BBBC didn't even follow the rules on that claim so it's invalidated

That's my point, there's no date, but it's equally absurd to discout fighters as undisputed when it was irrelevant.

But "there is" a date according to the guy who started this thread. It's 2007. That's what his LINK says.

I'm still waiting breathlessly to learn why Jack Dempsey was the first world heavyweight champion ... but guys who held what apparently was not the "real" title - like Jack Johnson and Jim Corbett and John L. Sullivan and Tommy Burns - are including in stats that are only reserved for the "real" champs?

What were the rules? You don't even know what you're talking about.
