Then why did you recognize the WBO in 2007? Was there something about the Ibragimov-Briggs fight that I missed?

Why did you stop recognizing the NYSAC in 1963 and recognize the WBC instead?

What did the NYSAC do wrong? What did the WBC do right?

To add to this, Undefeated Lachbuster, what did Jack Dempsey do in 1922 exactly to become the first World Heavyweight Champion?

By all accounts, he didn't have a sanctioned fight that year?

    Can't wait to hear.

Because champions beforehand were also unified. Just with 1 belt and no sanctioning bodies. Dempsey wasn't the first unified heavyweight champion, he was just the first UNIFIED heavyweight champion, as in required unification, if you catch my drift

No, he fought for it. Just like Walcott and Charles fought for it.

Why are you dodging the Dempsey stuff?

No, I don't catch your drift. Who did Dempsey unify with? And why don't you recognize any champs before Dempsey? Your link doesn't. Or are we ignoring the link that includes all the rules you follow now?

The NBA and the NYSAC rivalry started during Dempsey's reign. Before that, there were no rival sanctioning bodies. Therefore, you were unified with having one belt. Dempsey was unified in 2.

I know it still exists. The WBC was just created to replace it in the world title sanctioning body, please actually read the links I send

YES, there were "rival" sanctioning bodies before 1922. Title fights were recognized by many different orgs and groups and newspapers and everything else. As many as there are today, in fact.
