Checking out how cool n varied everybodys journal on this forum are, I decided to make my own. About me: Im 22 132.5 lbs. (fight at 132) Started boxing about 4months ago in Jan. Amateur record of 1-1 just lost last friday in the golden glove finals and got the flu soon after and just recovered so im back in the gym. Morning: 260 Pushups (30,30,50,10,40,50,50) 30 Chinups (10,10,10) 5 Pm Gym: 25 Min Jump Rope 1200 Crunches (300,300,300,300) Stairs 10x (??? idk but its a 4 story building and they r some long stairs lol) 4x3min Shadowboxing 3x3 min Sparring (was in the ring with 2 young kids so all i did was jab/block/parry and move) 5x3mins of the heavy bag (3 on a regular 1 and 2 on a tear drop bag) and thats it.. my coach closed the gym early. so on to tomm..
Wow thats alot of crunches...you do know there are other exercises for your core other than them right? looks like a nice day, keep it up! :good
yea i usuallly do my ab workouts with my friend but he hasnt been there in a while so i guess ima have to think of some new workouts.. thanx for the advice!
Thursday April 29th: Not a big day in terms of workin out, didn't spar woke up late and didnt run and damnit i cant quit smoking lol 5pm Gym: 20mins jumprope 600 Crunches(300,300) Up and down stairs 10x 5x3mins of shadowboxing 5x3mins on the heavy bag (2 teardrop) 3x3 on the double end bag 3x3 mitts with Louie(good trainer) and about 15 mins of watchin the heavyweights spar.. 2x15reps of 10lbs neck strengthener up (towards back) 1x20reps of 10lbs neck strengthener down (chin going towards chest) I felt like i couldve did so much more.. now i feel lazy o well on to tomm
ok.. had to go play army for the past week so yea its been a while, but now im back home and back in the gym.. last saturday i had a PT test and it showed me where im at on pushups situps and the 2mile run.. 93 pushups in 2mins, 97 situps in 2 mins and a 13:10 2 mile (not even close to my best but ill get better). also note to self: Quit smoking! i wuz sucking in the gym yesterday! May 6 Thursday 5PM Gym 20mins jumprope 600 crunches (300,300) 75 pushups 6 Rounds Shadowboxing in the ring 5 Rounds heavy bag 5 Rounds double end bag 2 Rounds Speed bag no sparring because of long layoff Rounds=3mins on 1min off
