I'd never heard of Pat Brown up until a couple of months ago but when I caught wind of him being signed by Matchroom and being highly touted I decided to check out a few of his amateur fights. He looked pretty good from the limited footage I saw. Well schooled, physically strong, good power but not a one punch guy or at least with amateur gloves, solid chin. Solid all round really. He looked better in the footage of one of his LHW fights to me than he did in the footage I saw of him up at HW

Seems like a nice lad. He could easily turn out to be a bust or he could go far. Apparently he's being thrown in a with a fairly decent test for someone making their pro debut but I have no idea if that's true or not

 He should do hard time for impersonating a superior star sign.

Dude was an Olympian. For a debut opponent he’s def not facing a ham n egg. Brown had a lot of amateur fights. He’s pretty well schooled.

Argentine was tough and game and a very decent test for a pro debut

Brown looked like a pretty classy operator in there. Maybe not the quickest or those most defensively sound but it was his pro debut and he looked good and like a spiteful body puncher with that left hook
