Reece Mcfadden has beat 3 GB podium boxers but still isn't getting a call up!

He beat Andrew Selby and Charlie Edwards at the commonwealth games..and now he's just beat Jack Bateson at the Tammer Tournament.

He's beat 3 top fighters in the GB squad in his weight division.. and is only 19!!
He defo deserves to on the podium squad :deal

Seems to be like the GB squad selection is a bit corrupt and in favour of English and Welsh boxers.

Charlie Flynn won commonwealth Gold and no one got in touch with him from GB.. it's crazy.

But the fact that the very poor scottish middleweight Aston Brown remains in the squad when he gets beat every week makes the whole thing even more baffling :nut

Sounds to me like it's similar to Youth international football, the favourites will get picked regardless of performance.

Remember seeing him at the commonwealth games and he impressed me.

Think his style would suit the pro's also.

Staggered that he's not even had a sniff at it after effectively brushing aside what was seen as the cream of the crop in that division...

Would love to hear the reasoning behind it.

I'm told he got a dodgy decision against Bateson in Finland

Defo mate but if I'm honest selbys attitude stunk that day, either way McFadden proved he's very good by winning in finland.
IMO Bateson will be the best of them all

I Think Bateson has let the sky coverage he was getting get to his head and overhyped himself , last few times ive saw clips of him hes been like a spoilt little boy with teary eyes when hes been beaten
