Didn't he weigh in at 133 for this fight? Difficult to tell, we only seen him fight three and a half rounds.
Wow imagine a former LWW belt holder fighting at SFW in the twilight of his career, thats gotta be a first. If he could then he could very well get close to another world title.
if he really cant keep the weight on, i think he'd be a top operator at sfw. i think he would do walsh.
If he can make 130 which i dont see as being impossible it seems to me that it demonstrates what a waste of a career in some sense for Rees that he has not been committed or had the nutritionists and proper system in place by trainers to make the weight. It should be easier the younger you are! This is where some of the "old school" trainers and methods let themselves down :deal
After speaking to him on saturday he was keen to show critics that his fitness had improved due to diet and he felt strong at the weight. he also commented on what a joke it was that he entered prize fighter weighing 10, 3
Let me guess, Rees Vs Walsh for the newly-vacated WBO title? atsch Rees Vs Uchiyama, next up please :yep
He said he's not interested in buckland as it would be a drop down to british level, i think he has his sights (rightly so imo) on the world stage
