    Hello,

After seeing Macca losing on Sunday morning, I was wondering how much of a chance the other Calzaghe stable have in their next fights.

    Rees versus Kotelnik ?

Kotelnik is really decent, I predict he beats Rees.

Pavlik beats Lockett by stoppage early. Would be upset of the decade if Lockett wins.

I have a feeling that Hopkins will really trouble Calzaghe.

The fight is in the USA, this will not be to Joe's advantage.
Hopkins has the physique of a Bika and the counterpunching style say of Robin Reid. Two of Joe's hardest fights.

Hopkins has vast experience and the Tito, Wright and Tarver scalps look formidable. He can rough it up to.

It's possible there will be no champs in the stable by later in the year.

    What does everyone else think?

Rees is considered a weak champion by many but if he beats Kotelnik and the rest of the Calzaghe stable lose their upcoming fights it would be a bit of a turnaround.

All have an ok chance but will underdog. Calzaghe may be judged a slight favorite but what with the fight being state side etc etc I have Hopkins having the edge.

The Tito and Wright wins don't impress me at all, an exciting but fragile Welterweight and an old jr Middle who'd put a whole stone on since his last fight when he faced Hopkins. I'll give you Tarver but even he was filming Rocky 6 at the time al la Lewis-Rahman.

Kotlenick is a very good fighter but he will have to KO rees to get a decision in wales on a FW show. Although Rees is very under rated his performance against MBaye was awsome.

It would be a huge dent in confiedence for teh Calzaghe camp if going into the Hopkins fight they has lost 2 of there World Champs. But rees and Macca are not Joe Calzaghe.

There is NO WAY that either of the Calzaghes will let Saturdays fight or Rees' upcoming one affect their preparation in the slightest.

I'd prefer it if Calzaghe Snr keeps a lower profile in the build up to the Joe and Rees fights. Some of the anti-Macca feeling before the Haye fight seemed to be caused by his outbursts.

Joe will win easily, so forget about that

Rees I would have as a slight favourite

Lockett has virtually no chance, but then again he's not a world champion or anybody significant anyway

Joe's a different league to his gym buddies he will win.

I'm convinced Rees could beat Kotelnik too, look how bad Kotelnik was against M'Baye and how he did **** all against Witter till the later rounds. He's just a stiff fighter who covers up and will throw the odd shot.

I think Rees and Locket will lose.

Joe, on the other hand, will beat Hopkins like a red headed step child.

Entirely correct. Enzo's M's not a bad guy, but Enzo C is pretty much a **** of a character.
