Rees - Murray confirmed! Added to Dec show

I think Rees will stop him, I can see him getting to Murray with hard shots down the middle.

 

That will never happen though. A Champion making a voluntary defence will always take options on the opponent. Hearn talks about options but we all know he has them on Mack, and rightfully so.

 

Frank wanted control of Rees next 3 fights! If it was just the option of a rematch then fair enough, but 3 options is excessive.

 

Frank giving this fight the go ahead says more about Murray's present state than anything else. If Frank saw any further meaningful ring future for Murray this fight wouldn't be happening. Although this has been clear since he was fed to Rios.

All depends on just how much Murray wants it. If he does he is good enough to beat Rees if he is just looking for a few quid and dont train properly then Rees will stop him late on imo.

All fought/fighting each other is excellent. I hope we eventually get a Burns-Rees fight say late next year.

 

Really fancy Murray to beat Rees, i saw him a couple of weeks ago and hes already in great shape. Fancy Murray to stop him late in a war.

 

Where is he training Macky, lots of people saying he is in poor shape and not even got a trainer and suchlike. Really fancy a fit Murray to win this, be interested to know if you know anything about his training/etc

 

Fairly standard, actually. Gives the option for a rematch and some cover in case the fighter loses that too.

Three options is standard, but IMO it is excessive.

Rematch clause by all means, perhaps even an option on a 3rd fight, but over and above that it's a bit much.

In this case, I think there's a bit of history involved and Rees seems to be happy at Matchroom rather than being left on the shelf at Allegedly Towers like so many other fighters.

Plus, as good as he's become, he's pretty unlikely to beat Burns in all honesty.

 

Standard maybe, but it's still too much IMO, Frank should show more confidence in Ricky.
