At one stage it looked like he couldnt be arsed with boxing, got a little fed up with him pulling out of fights with his broken nose bs. Spoke to him in NY, asked him why he wasnt on the undercard of the Calz/Jones fight and was it bc of the broken nose rumour? His reply was ppl will believe anything.
Well he`s representing Wales on sat night, just hope Lockett has got the fire burning back in his belly mind the pun!

I read an article recently that the reason he vacated the British title was at the request of Matchroom who promised to look after him - which they did by getting him the EBU title shot.

but by all accounts everytime he took a a jab his nose began to bleed so he needed an operation on it - think it was something like the bone was catching cartlidge of something.

Murray may be somewhat limited but at least you can say hes always in good condition. He trains hard for every fight and is always in good shape. Rees doesnt look great, but I think he always looks like that.
